Since 1967, the Canada Games have successfully provided an important and exciting environment for young athletes from every province and territory.

Six events make up the badminton program at the 2011 games: Women's Singles, Men's Singles, Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles, Mixed Doubles and a team event.

Badminton is held during week 2 at the brand new Canada Games Centre in Halifx, Nova Scotia.
